Covid 19-Online Therapy

Hello
I hope you are all keeping safe and staying well.
During this challenging time I am taking steps to support you as much as possible so I will be available for online therapy sessions only.

It is important that we keep ourselves and our families safe at this time and self-isolate.

Here is a link from public health Ontario on how to self isolate:

Mental Health Awareness Reminders:

Remind your self that it is ok to feel sad, to cry, to feel anxious or to feel a sense of loss.

Remind yourself that you are not alone, we are all going through this together.  Reminding us to connect while using compassion and love for ourselves and one another.

Remind yourself not to judge our inner selves, this is not your fault.  Even though we need to physically isolate from each other and it may feel like other people can be harmful to our health, remind yourself it is not your neighbours fault either.

Remind yourself that when you have that urge to isolate when your feeling down and depressed, gently nudge yourself to connect to someone.  Call a friend, a colleague or face time your family.  Start a daily routine with walks or exercise.

Remind your self that your feelings and emotions can be overwhelming right now and can feel like they are controlling your mind.  Learn some relaxation/breathing techniques, meditation or mindfulness.

Stay safe and stay well.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.
