Space is a place you can create and where you feel safe to explore your inner self
and delve into your feelings without any judgment. Feeling safe is the
beginning of the healing process, the core, where growth and transformation begin.
Find a safe place where you can have privacy and make it into a daily practice
for yourself. Provide a container for your self care rituals where you allot
yourself a time, like each morning before I start you start your day dedicate
30 minutes to writing in your journal, listening to some affirmations, doing
stretches or breathing exercises. Whatever time allotment you decided can also
help you to feel safe that this reflective practice has an end and it can help
if you are feeling too overwhelmed. Writing is a tool that can help build
access to exploring parts of your mind you never even knew existed. The end
goal is to be able to do some free writing, to write without thinking or even
stopping to think. Not thinking about editing or going back to check and
recheck or worrying about grammar. The end game is to be able to connect and
write about whatever thoughts are hanging around in your head. At times we can get
stuck, not motivated or are not able to understand how we can connect to
ourselves and figure out how we really feel. So, I created a journal with some
prompts to help get you started, to get you into the mood and start the
practice. I have also added spaces to draw or doodle when you get stuck for
words or prefer a visual to aid you through the process. You can always email
